MILLER - Elmer F., 67, Johnstown, died July 29, 2010 at home. Born March 2, 1943 in Johnstown, son of Elmer Bailey and Dolly Marie (Foust) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, grandparents, Elda and George Miller, whom raised Elmer and also preceded by great-grandson Jeremiah Uher.
Survived by wife, the former Kathleen R. Miller, Johnstown; children, Elmer F. Miller Jr. and wife Debbieanne, York, PA; Wina married to William Polke, York, PA; Kimberly married to Randy Anderson, Gas Center, PA; Georgie married to John Tremarki, Johnstown and Kody Miller, Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren, Erinn married to Steve Uher, Maggie married to Roger Loveridge, Brady Tremarki and A. J. Tremarki and 6 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by mother-in-law Kathleen M. Miller, Johnstown; sister Gertrude Albus, 1/2 sister Diane Tew; 1/2 brother Randy Bailey; brother-in-law Barry Miller and wife Gail and niece and nephew Lori married to Rick Rhodes. Also survived by beloved companion "Sassy".
Elmer was a coalminer for Tanoma Mining Co, a member of the Dilltown Sportsmans Club and the UMWA.
At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to a memorial service at the Bowserdale United Methodist Church, Cooper Ave., at 6pm Tuesday.
