Belva D. Rager

Rager, Belva D. "Bee" 92 of Benshoff Hill died July 3, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 31, 1917 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Sherman and Mary (Henry) Zembower. Preceded in death by husband Joseph E. Rager, brothers Burnel and Duane Zembower and sisters Hazel Gilmore, Wilda Cree, and Rebecca Faye Pilla.

Survived by daughter Beverly married to Vaun Miller of Ohio. Granddaughter Marcia married to Roger Metzgar of Johnstown. Great grandchildren Quentin Metzgar and wife Mistey of Waldorf, Md, Mindi Metzgar and Matthew Metzgar both of Johnstown. Great great grandchildren Alayna, Aidan, Alexis, and David. Sister of Shirley married to Edward Askey of Windber.

Member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren where she belonged to the women's fellowship and quilting ladies and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for Middle Taylor Volunteer Fire Co. Former waitress for Sanitary Dairy, the VFW on Vine St, Amvets, and Marketplace.

Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday at the Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc 146 Chandler Ave funeral services will be held at 11am at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren the Rev.
