Yurt, Rodger James, "Buck", 67, Johnstown, died June 13, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 12, 1942 in Johnstown, son of the late Benjamin and Rebecca (Shomo) Yurt. Preceded in death by brother Benjamin.
Survived by son Joseph Yurt and wife Drenda, Florida; daughter Debbie Harbert and husband Gary, Florida; grandchildren, Diane; Terry; Jerry and Erica, sisters Virginia "Sue" Bracken and husband Harry "Dick", Johnstown and Nila Woods and husband Arthur, Ohio, brother George Yurt and wife Carol, Ohio and niece Maryann and husband Ron Clossin, Johnstown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, loving companion "Daisy" and special friend Danny Moore, Johnstown.
Roger worked on the assembly line at Ford Motor Co.
Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Tuesday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., where service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday. Rev. Tom Moore, officiating.
