SMITH - Charlotte J., 76, Johnstown, died June 6, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 1, 1934 in Indiana, PA; daughter of the late Henry and Rosa Etta (McCreary) Johnson. Preceded in death by husband, Pastor John E. Smith Jr. daughter, Staci Page and brother, Fred Johnson.
Survived by daughters, Renda G., married to Dwayne Witten, Johnstown;
Keenya Smith-Gray, married to David H. Gray, Lancaster; Desiree Townes, Fort Bragg, NC; sister, Martha "Aunti" Pretlor, Edgewood, NJ; and son-in-law Randy Page, Johnstown. Also grandchildren, Portia, Dante, Shakir, Kanika, Kellem, Yohance, Rukiya, Jarett, and Charlotte and a host of great-grandchildren.
Charlotte was a teacher's aid for Johnstown Middle School and a retired LPN for Lee Hospital. She was a member of the Womens Help Center and the Grandparents as Parents Association of Cambria Co. and an active member of the adult choir at Steven's Memorial Holy Church.
A memorial service will be held 1 pm Thursday at Steven's Memorial Holy Church, Pastor Charles V. Johnson, officiating. Inurnment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
