Rager, Robert G., 81, Johnstown, died June 7, 2010 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born May 26, 1929 in Johnstown, son of the late Elmer and Catherine (Rummel) Rager. Preceded in death by wife, the former Betty Ella Bagley and these brothers and sisters; Melvin; Blair; Russell; Leroy and Myrtle and Elvie Bowser; Elsie Zonin; Lucy Zonin and Gladys Reynolds. Survived by sons, Robert Keith Rager, Johnstown; Douglas L. Rager and wife Sandra, Johnstown; Gregory L. Rager and wife Susan, Fallentimber, PA and Derrick Rager and partner Brandie, Johnstown. Also survived by sister Wilda Spaugy and husband Bert, Johnstown and grandchildren, Jillian; Kelly; Jonathan; Adam; Lindsey and Gabriel, great-grandson Joshua and sister-in-law Hazel Rager, Johnstown. Robert was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church, the Alma Lodge, the Odd Fellows and VFW Post 155 and 897. He was also a US Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Wednesday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave, where service will be held at 11am Thursday. Rev. Denise Todero, officiating.
