Reid, Emma Joan, 70, of Curwensville died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville. Born July 26, 1939, at Mecksville, she was a daughter of John and Effie (Dove) Lentz.
Mrs. Reid was a homemaker. On October 24, 1956, at Clearfield, she wed William A. Reid, who preceded her in death on October 1, 1993.
Surviving are three children, William J. Reid and his wife, Susanne, of Clearfield, Randy S. Reid and his wife, Suzanne, of Hyde, and Lori L. Duttry and her husband Ken of Curwensville; two grandchildren, Josh Reid and his wife, Ashlee, of Punxsutawney and Katie Duttry of Curwensville. In addition, she is survived by three sisters, Charlotte Wilson and her husband, Frank, of Curwensville, Lola (Polly) Hoover and her husband, Herbert, of Lebanon, Loraine Rutter of Lebanon, and a brother, John Lentz and his wife, Carol, of Tyrone.
Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, Jennifter Duttry, and her brothers, Ward Dove, Wayne Dove, Ervin Lentz, Allen Lentz, Donald Wade Lentz, Douglas Lentz.
At the request of Mrs. Reid, there will be no public visitation. A private memorial will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Clearfield County S.P.C.A., 541 Graham Station Road, Philipsburg, PA 16866. Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Johnstown, is in charge of the arrangements.
